Grand Junction Raspberry Pi User Group

Event description

Join us for our monthly Raspberry Pi User Group meeting! The Raspberry Pi is a small and affordable computer that you can use to learn programming (among tons of other things). This user group will be an open forum for interested people to meet and talk about this amazing $35 single board computer. We meet the second Wednesday of every month.

Key points

  • Never heard of it? Visit https://www.raspberrypi.org/
  • Bring your Pi or Pi-based project with you... or don't! GJmakerspace has several on hand.
  • No prior experience necessary. This isn't a basics class, but we'll be happy to show you some basics.

*Basic computer skills* are necessary! If you can use a Mac, Windows PC or even a Commodore 64 you should be fine! If you can't use any computer, this event is probably not for you.

Ages: 7 and up; up to 1 child per registration.
Adult required to be with children during the event.

Supplied Materials

GJmakerspace has several Raspberry Pi computers available to try out.
