Grand Junction Arduino User Group

Event description

GJmakerspace is starting an Arduino User Group! The Arduino is a low cost micro-controller used to control stuff, learn programming and enhance your DIY projects. This user group will be an open forum for interested people to meet and talk about this amazing $5 device.

Key points

  • Never heard of it? Visit https://www.arduino.cc/
  • Bring your Arduino or Arduino-based project with you... or don't! GJmakerspace has several on hand.
  • No prior experience necessary. This isn't a basics class, but we'll be happy to show you some basics.
  • This is the first meeting, future monthly dates to be determined at this time.

“Basic computer skills” are necessary! If you can use a Mac, Windows PC, Raspberry Pi, Linux machine, XBox or Playstation you should be fine! If you can't use any computer, this event is probably not for you.

Ages: 7 and up; up to 1 child per registration.
Adult required to be with children during the event.

Supplied Materials

GJmakerspace has several Arduino boards available to try out.
